Job summary

S+B James Construction, a trusted commercial builder serving Southern Oregon and Northern California, seeks a seasoned Construction Supervisor. You will support the project manager and estimator in planning, sequencing, and documenting work, while coordinating field teams to achieve on-time, safe project completions.

This role requires a minimum of five years in commercial construction supervision, OSHA 30, and strong proficiency with MS Office and project management tools.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reasonable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least five years of progressive experience in commercial construction supervision.
• OSHA 30 required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint) and Bluebeam/Adobe.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist project manager and estimating in creating work plans and CPM schedules.
• Schedule and sequence day-to-day activities to meet project objectives.
• Travel to jobsites as needed.
• Create and maintain timely project document flow with the PM.
• Develop and maintain a site logistics program with the PM.
• Lead field teams to high performance and progressive production.
• Meet with owner/designer regularly to review progress.
• Ensure permits and inspections are obtained as required.
• Maintain good relations with project stakeholders and the public.
• Lead weekly toolbox safety meetings with site staff.
