Job summary

IMC Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex commercial projects from start to finish in New Jersey. You will drive strategy, manage budgets and schedules, and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Leads complex construction projects with a focus on scope, schedule, budget and quality.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, mentorship, and team development abilities.
• Manages client and stakeholder communications to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
• Controls project finances, including budgeting, forecasting and change management.
• Proficient with project management software used in the field.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, aligning scope, budget and schedule.
• Drive project planning, buyout, staffing, logistics and execution with field leadership.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost control, subcontracting and owner billings.
• Maintain active client relationships and partner with architects and engineers.
• Develop teams, promote accountability, and mentor project staff.
• Cultivate subcontractor and vendor relationships for effective collaboration.
• Champion safety and quality across all phases of construction.
• Lead problem solving to keep projects moving forward efficiently.
• Support business development through client interviews and proposals.
