Job summary

Dowbuilt in Florida seeks a Project Principal to lead high-end residential projects across Miami and Palm Beach. You’ll partner with the Regional Principal to drive client satisfaction, coordinated design, and timely delivery from preconstruction through closeout.

You’ll manage client relationships, guide project teams, and safeguard financial performance and risk. Frequent travel and leadership of cross-functional teams are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, building science, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible construction management experience.
• Experience leading complex projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Strong understanding of design processes and permitting.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior client relationship manager and executive point of contact for project stakeholders.
• Establish project objectives, success criteria, and client commitments from preconstruction through closeout.
• Maintain visibility with clients, project teams, and field personnel throughout project execution.
• Support Project Managers and Superintendents in strategy, communication, and issue resolution.
• Ensure decisions align with goals, budgets, and schedules.
• Lead project kickoff meetings and reviews; support transitions to Service.
• Lead alignment discussions on project strategy and execution.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and conditions.
• Identify qualified subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Promote continuous improvement through standard systems and SOPs.
