Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Columbus, OH seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead planning, coordination, and execution of complex construction projects on site.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least ten years of related experience, strong leadership, budgeting, contract administration, and proficiency with BIM/Lean methods; you will oversee safety, QA/QC, and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of ten years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
• Thorough knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing and engineering principles and techniques, as well as accounting principles.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Ability to implement leading-edge technologies such as Building Information Models (BIM) and Lean to benefit the project.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and coordinate overall management of multiple projects.
• Develop and maintain Master Project Schedule and ensure adherence.
• Manage budget, financial reporting, and payment applications.
• Oversee QA/QC program and field operations.
• Foster owner, architect, subcontractor and vendor relations.
• Ensure safety protocols are enforced on site.
• Mentor and develop project staff through supervision and training.
• Read, interpret contracts and apply BIM/Lean technologies.
• Communicate progress through regular ORM-like reviews.
