Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a Senior Superintendent for a Columbus, OH project to lead subcontractors, ensure safety, manage the schedule, and control costs. You will supervise assistants, engineers, and trades, developing recovery plans and coordinating with owners and architects to resolve field issues.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least four years' related construction experience, with proven leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control, and staffing levels.
Coordinate trades to promote coordinated project operations and resolve local issues.
Manage the site safety program and subcontractor compliance with Turner standards.
supervise and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers and Interns.
Create schedules, determine sequencing, and implement recovery strategies.
Communicate with owners and architects/engineers on field issues.
Manage billing, WIP, payrolls, invoices and subcontractor payments.
Ensure work complies with approved contract documents.
