Job summary

Wurzel Builders, LTD in Austin, TX seeks a Senior Project Manager to drive project direction, budgets and schedules for high-value commercial builds. You will lead a team of PMs and coordinate with the Superintendent to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and top-quality results.

The role requires a BS in Construction or 5+ years PM experience, plus proficiency in MS Office and PM software (Bluebeam, MS Project). OSHA 30 or commitment to obtain it is expected promptly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Construction or 5+ years PM experience.
• MS Office and PM software (Bluebeam, MS Project) proficiency.
• Ability to read blueprints, structural drawings, and plan sets.
• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain within 90 days of start date.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ethical behavior and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Develop project budgets using estimating guidance.
• Buy-out subcontractors and manage the Buy-Out Process.
• Manage project finances: forecast, cost proposals, billings, pay apps.
• Lead weekly project meetings and maintain the Master Schedule.
• Coordinate with Superintendent to update schedules and resolve issues.
• Mentor project managers and participate in performance reviews.
