Wurzel Builders, LTD, an Austin-based commercial builder, seeks a Project Manager to lead onsite and office activities. You will develop budgets, manage buy-outs, supervise subcontractors, and ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence while delivering high-quality work.
You will coordinate weekly meetings, prepare forecasts and invoices, and maintain strong relationships with owners and vendors. A construction degree and PM experience are required, with OSHA 30 and Excel proficiency

The Project Manager provides overall management direction for assigned projects. Their responsibilities include ensuring each project is constructed safely, on schedule, within budget and of the highest quality possible. Additional clarification of responsibilities are noted within the Project Team Procedures Manual. The Project Manager and Project Superintendent are the primary team members on each project and each are responsible for the successful completion of each project.
Minimum Requirements:
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time exempt position. Typical work days and hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some weekend work may be required. Work location is in office/at job site.
Travel: Overnight travel is possible for this position. Frequent day travel will be necessary.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and the ability of pulling and pushing objects up to 50 pounds is required on a job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continually required to stand; walk; walk on uneven surfaces; use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms for long periods of time. The employee is regularly required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and smell.
