Job summary

Charah Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced construction manager to lead day-to-day onsite operations for complex projects from pre-construction through close-out. You will procure, schedule, and direct work crews, equipment, and subcontractors, ensuring construction aligns with plans, schedule, and budget.

The role requires strong communication, reading of engineered drawings, and a dedication to safety and quality. A CDL and OSHA 30 are valued assets for site operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a construction environment.
• Minimum 5-7 years of construction management or supervision experience.
• High school diploma required; additional credits or degree preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to acquire.
• Experience reading engineered drawings and blueprints; ability to read grade stakes and use a level.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with landfill construction or related heavy civil projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review proposals, estimates, plans, drawings and specifications; analyze labor, materials, equipment and time requirements.
• Own onsite operations from Pre-Construction through Construction to Close-Out; ensure schedule adherence and budget compliance.
• Maintain communications with customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Manage multiple subcontractors and their time schedules; coordinate with engineers, environmental teams and vendors.
• Enforce safety procedures per Charah Solutions SOPs and OSHA requirements.
