Job summary

Charah Solutions is seeking a construction foreman/superintendent to manage a crew and oversee equipment and materials on large projects in line with designs and specifications.

The role requires knowledge of safety standards, permits, budgets, and schedules, plus the ability to train and lead staff, coordinate subcontractors, and improve processes. Night/weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have Trimble GPS knowledge and experience managing construction crews.
• Ability to operate and supervise heavy equipment and related tools.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Meet operational standards by contributing construction information to plans and reviews; drive production, ensure quality, and uphold customer-service standards.
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following safety standards and regulations (OSHA, MSHA, DOT).
• Understand construction drawings, permits, layouts, and project budgets/schedules.
• Lead and train staff, schedule activities, monitor performance, and enforce policies.
• Assist with managing subcontractors and evaluate their performance.
• Possess initiative to devise new procedures and solve problems.
• Be able to work independently and in teams, maintaining workflow and relationships.
