Job summary

Atoms is building the machines powering the next era of progress in Los Angeles. We seek a Construction Manager to plan and execute onsite projects, coordinate multiple teams, and drive schedule, budget, and quality from permitting through completion.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years in commercial real estate and F&B construction, strong communication, and the ability to juggle several projects. Onsite, five days a week with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 7-10 years of relevant work experience; 5–7 years within commercial real estate and F&B construction.
• Ability to own multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in fast-paced environments requiring adaptability and initiative.
• Plus: Procore, Bluebeam Revu, MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute construction projects from start to finish, delivering ahead of schedule and below budget within codes and specs.
• Oversee daily onsite construction activities, including scheduling, cost monitoring, safety, and stakeholder relations.
• Manage schedule, cost, and quality across multiple projects through permitting to completion.
• Define build approach, tendering, and consultant/contractor/vendor appointments to optimize build quality and cost.
• Lead teams of consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Review schedules and milestones; negotiate recovery plans with vendors/contractors as needed.
• Coordinate all onsite activities including inspections, installations, and due diligence.
