Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is actively seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead two or more projects in the Richmond, VA area. You will oversee project teams, manage budgets and schedules, and liaise with owners, architects, and engineers to ensure on-time completion.

You will estimate work packages, monitor performance, and drive safety and quality across sites while coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a minimum 8 years project management experience
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Project
• Willingness and ability to report to multiple job sites as assigned

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and staff key field positions
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards
• Act as liaison with prime client and architect/engineer contacts
• Assist in estimating work packages
• Monitor and control construction to meet schedule and budget
• Represent company in project meetings and strategy sessions
• Create and maintain internal project schedules
• Prepare submittal logs and change order documentation
• Ensure timely project close-out documents
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for proposals and schedules
• Schedule and attend owner/architect pre-bid and close-out meetings
• Communicate project status and issues to management
