Job summary

TPZP is seeking a Field Engineer for the CP-1 California High Speed Rail project in Fresno, CA. The candidate will review plans, develop schedules, and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery and safety compliance.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field and 5+ years of heavy civil construction experience. Primavera P6 and MS Office skills are preferred for planning and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of construction experience on heavy civil projects.
• Knowledge of safety requirements and federal OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and develop a construction schedule with project-wide coordination.
• Coordinate with subcontractors on material acquisitions and pre-construction deliverables.
• Prepare work plans, obtain quotes, and draft contracts to meet project needs.
• Prepare and distribute activity schedules and coordinate start times across teams.
• Monitor daily field construction processes and provide on-site supervision.
• Perform layout checks and technical reviews against requirements.
• Assist subcontract administration and track RFIs, submittals, and payments.
• Support monthly progress reporting and issue tracking.
