Job summary

Crosslands Construction is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our Englewood, Colorado team. This role goes beyond coordination, serving as a working mentor to Project Engineers and sharing best practices in construction processes and documentation discipline.

You will work alongside current PEs on shared projects, coaching and demonstrating effective RFI and submittal management, document control, and scope management.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction project engineering is required.
• Strong organization and documentation discipline.
• Ability to coach and develop junior project engineers.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and specs; manage project documents.
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, and change orders from initiation to resolution.
• Maintain current drawing sets, logs, and project files.
• Assist with subcontractor buyout, scope reviews, and procurement.
• Attend meetings and prepare agendas, minutes, and follow-up items.
• Conduct site visits and document field conditions.
