Job summary

Fransenpittman is seeking a Project Engineer I in Englewood, CO. The role coordinates needs and resolves conflicts between architects and subcontractors to keep projects on track. A strong knowledge of plans and specs helps address questions as they arise, making the PE a central knowledge resource.

You will gather lead times, coordinate deliveries, review submittals, issue RFIs, share up-to-date drawings, and assist with permits, punch lists, and project manuals to ensure on-time completion.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management or 2-year AS in Construction Management plus 2 years experience.
• Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel; Bluebeam; Revit/Revizto a plus.
• Ability to read and understand all project documents (plans, specs).
• Professional communication with all levels and external clients/partners.
• Ability to collaborate as a team and work independently as needed.
• Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with high accuracy and detail.
• OSHA 30-hour certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Gather lead times for materials to meet construction schedules.
• Coordinate material delivery with subcontractors and site superintendent.
• Thorough reviews of submittals before Architect final approval.
• Generate RFIs to the design team.
• Distribute up-to-date plans and specs to all subcontractors.
• Assist with obtaining permits before project start.
• Create and distribute punch lists to subcontractors for timely completion.
• Compile owner and operations manuals/warranties from subcontractors.
• Gather Revizto/Revit files for import into Revizto.
• Assist in developing Project QA/QC plan.
• Maintain project documentation and files.
