Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years’ experience in the construction or engineering field.
• Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to set standards of excellence in leadership, safety, quality, and productivity.
• Strong team leadership and management skills.
• Experience managing project engineering functions and related activities.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable/receivable, materials control, estimating, job cost updates and subcontracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop complete understanding of contract plans and specifications.
• Review, analyze and resolve design/construction problems with design team and client.
• Ensure compliance with company and contract requirements and support construction scheduling.
• Create and manage a contract execution plan.
• Provide technical support for construction including design interpretation and constructability reviews.
• Develop and administer document control program for onsite operations.
• Maintain project logs and documentation.
• Represent company in design reviews and project coordination meetings.
• Assist in developing scopes of work for subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Oversee project master schedule updates with input from management.
• Manage the Contract Administration team and review changes.
• Prepare monthly cost projections and quarterly cash flow projections.
• Support EHS programs at the project level.
• Lead and develop the project team; manage closeout deliverables.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
