Kiewit is seeking a Materials Coordinator for an on-site role in Abilene, Texas. You will support planning, tracking, receiving, storage, and distribution of materials for construction activities, acting as a liaison between procurement, suppliers, logistics providers, and field teams to keep materials available on schedule.

The role emphasizes inventory management, forecasting, warehouse operations, and issue resolution related to material availability, delivery, and utilization.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or related field; or equivalent construction experience.
• 2+ years of experience in construction materials management, warehouse operations, logistics, procurement, or field operations.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and material tracking systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate the receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution of construction materials and equipment.
• Track material status from purchase order through delivery and installation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and material tracking systems.
• Monitor material shortages, backorders, and critical-path deliveries.
• Assist with forecasting material needs based on construction schedules.
