Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology leader, seeks a seasoned Project Controls Lead within Design & Construction to partner with construction PMs and help bring sites to life. You will own cost forecasting, governance, and reporting, align with FP&A, and build processes that scale across megaprojects and renovations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years in construction management or project controls.
• Excel proficiency to build models quickly and with clarity.
• PowerPoint proficiency to distill data into executive slides.
• Ability to communicate effectively with executives.
• Willingness to travel ~10% of the time, including international travel.
• U.S. Person due to access to restricted information or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost category structure and WBS development across all construction projects.
• Establish and implement cost forecasting templates (cash flow, accruals) and train PMs.
• Collaborate with Corporate Finance for monthly, quarterly, and annual capex reporting.
• Own and evolve Historical Cost Database to support estimates and benchmarking.
• Support budget approval processes across megaprojects and renovations with cross‑functional teams.
• Develop annual capital planning with project managers and strategic real estate.
• Serve as bridge between Design & Construction and FP&A for forecasting, variance analysis, and board reporting.
• Oversee change order management with a QS-based approach and ensure proper documentation.
• Design and implement project approval processes and governance, with clear roles at initiation.
• Create templatized financial reporting materials and KPI dashboards.
