Sundt-2 is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Tampa to handle administration and execution of complex projects, ensuring safety, profitability, and timely delivery. The role involves coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, subs, and suppliers, and advancing business development during bids and negotiations.

The position offers growth through Step I and Step II progression, with responsibilities spanning contract reviews, cost control, and schedule management for multi-project

Qualifications

• Experience in Pre-Con managing construction projects, with knowledge of contract documents, materials, and equipment utilization.
• Understanding scheduling systems and productivity analysis; familiarity with cash flow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transition from estimating to field, including contract review meetings.
• Close out requirements and warranty callbacks.
• Coordinate with the Project Superintendent on means/methods and resource planning.
• Build professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Maintain project profitability, safety, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Manage billings and payment applications; collect payments.
• Develop and coordinate CPM schedule with supers; ensure procurement aligns with schedules.
• Review estimates focusing on cost controls, equipment, formwork, and insurance.
• Support business development through client contact and proposals.
• Prepare Monthly Progress Reports by the 6th each month.
• Review purchase orders and subcontracts timely.
• Understand prime contract terms and administer documents; issue notifications as needed.
• Review and execute change orders and budget adjustments.
• Ensure insurance in place before subcontractors start on site.
