Job summary

Adams Electric Company seeks a seasoned project leader in Charlotte, NC to drive large electrical projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will manage budgets, schedules, and risk while coordinating with BIM/VDC and field teams to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.

You will mentor associate PMs and superintendents, uphold safety standards, and deliver high-quality results while advancing Adams Electric’s core values.

Qualifications

• Experience leading projects and programs in construction or electrical contracting.
• Ability to develop budgets, track costs, and manage profitability.
• Strong scheduling skills with proactive risk management.
• Experience applying LEAN construction principles and pull planning.
• Proven ability to coach and develop project teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide performance leadership for projects including financial oversight and safety.
• Define and communicate project strategy; manage contract terms and risk.
• Control budgets, approve changes, and monitor profits and losses.
• Collaborate with Preconstruction, VDC/BIM, and field teams to ensure profitability and schedule.
• Lead and develop project teams, foster client relationships, and uphold core values.
