Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Specialist in Procurement of Construction Works and Services, based in New York City or Dallas, TX. The role involves drafting procurement strategies, issuing RFIs, RFQs and RFPs, and coordinating with GC, architects and vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The candidate will manage supplier relationships, analyze bids, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards, supporting a range of infrastructure projects globally.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with four years of procurement experience in corporate interiors or equivalent.
• Experience in construction management, architecture or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and contracting strategies.

Responsibilities

• Review project requirements and draft procurement strategy memos.
• Prepare and issue RFIs/RFQs/RFPs in the client's PMIS.
• Engage with contractors, architects, engineers and vendors to execute work strategy.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and contractors.
• Monitor procurement performance metrics and ensure compliance.
