Job summary

Disneyland Resort in Anaheim is seeking a Project Manager to lead and deliver capital projects with a sharp focus on scope, budget, and schedule compliance. You will assemble cross-functional teams, manage contracts, and drive safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

You will report to the Program Manager and collaborate with Partners, Clients, and management to minimize guest disruption while achieving project goals within approved budgets.

Qualifications

• Four years of project management/construction management in hospitality, commercial and industrial construction.
• Knowledge of PM process and ability to handle a portfolio of projects over $6M annually.
• Knowledge of project accounting, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, document management, contract management, and cost forecasting.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques; familiarity with codes (UBC, NEC & UFC).
• Ability to prepare presentations for department management reviews.
• Outstanding attention to detail and organization; problem-solving skills.
• Leadership experience.
• Identify project-related risks and mitigation plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall project safety, acquiring final approval for contractor-submitted safety plans and compliance with the project safety plan.
• Lead development, planning, execution, and closeout of the project throughout the project life.
• Assemble project teams with internal and external resources to deliver against goals.
• Provide support for the administration of contracts including scope of work and cost items.
• Run the project schedule, establish critical path tasks and ensure cadence to meet completion date.
• Coordinate communication with Partners, Clients, and management on status, schedule, financials, and guest impacts.
• Be technically proficient with construction management software and Microsoft Office; use project systems daily.
• Handle change orders and update budget/EFC based on cost trends.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation plans.
