Job summary

The Walt Disney Company in Anaheim is seeking an Associate Construction Project Manager (Facility Asset Management) to oversee projects from inception to closeout with strict scope, budget, and schedule controls. You will coordinate with the Manager of Programs, manage safety plans, and ensure accurate EFC reporting.

Responsibilities include planning, development, budgeting, contract support, and effective communication with Business Partners and resort divisions to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in project/construction management or related field and 2+ years of hands-on project/construction experience.
• Four years of project management/construction management experience in hospitality, commercial and industrial construction; theme park construction a plus.
• Knowledge of project management processes and ability to manage a portfolio of projects over $4M annually.
• Knowledge of project accounting, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, document management, and cost forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety compliance and final approval of contractor safety plans in accordance with OSHA requirements and FAM standards.
• Develop, plan, execute, and closeout all project aspects including design, development, budget, cash flow reporting, and EFC maintenance.
• Lead project scope, estimates, strategy, and scheduling with support from estimators and schedulers; obtain funding approvals.
• Assemble and lead project teams; manage client relations and cross-LOB collaboration; communicate status and impacts to management.
