Job summary

Turner & Townsend Heery seeks a Senior Construction Project Manager for public sector projects in NorCal. You will monitor large, complex construction programs for clients, with direct accountability for delivery.

You will conduct site visits, review progress against drawings, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with budgets, contracts, and regulatory requirements. Strong leadership and communication are essential for coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Ten years of full-time construction/PM experience.
• Five+ years coordinating complex projects with values over $20M.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Licensure as Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic site visits to monitor progress.
• Review status of work and adherence to drawings and specs.
• Analyze budgets and prepare construction risk assessments.
• Review change orders, subcontracts, and cost reports.
• Prepare project status reports and recommend funds releases.
• Ensure compliance with codes, permits, and certifications.
• Support development of contingency and cost estimates.
