Job summary

Turner & Townsend Heery seeks an Associate Director of Project Management to drive growth in the NorCal region, supporting the Western Region and California Cost Center 8140. The role emphasizes leadership, new business development, client management and service delivery for government, education and healthcare sectors.

The successful candidate will lead bid teams, develop marketing strategies, manage key accounts, and mentor project management staff to deliver high-quality projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction.
• A graduate degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a project management role in the A-E-C industry.
• Excellent project management, organizational and problem solving skills with ability to influence at all levels.
• Strong knowledge of local NorCal construction market and ability to develop client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and bid team activities for NorCal region.
• Manage and grow relationships with government, education and healthcare clients.
• Oversee project management services, deliverables and staffing for NorCal portfolio.
• Identify client needs and allocate resources to ensure value-driven results.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to project managers and staff.
