Anoka County is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead county-wide construction initiatives. This on-site role requires coordinating internal teams, external partners, and vendors to meet milestones and budgets while delivering high-quality outcomes for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of job-related experience.
• Knowledge of building and construction codes and regulations.
• Valid driver's license and ability to use a vehicle for business purposes.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the project expert for construction projects across Anoka County, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality.
• Provide direction on project management processes and methodologies for goal achievement.
• Track daily progress of construction projects through milestones, budgets, and performance indicators.
• Develop reporting tools, models, and documentation to support project delivery.
• Ensure accuracy in reports, schedules, and contracts in support of county projects.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and oversee vendors as needed.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior staff.
