Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Project Manager in New Jersey to oversee construction projects from conception to completion. You will coordinate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while meeting safety and quality standards.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of PM experience in construction. The role offers a 4/10 work schedule, extensive benefits, and incentive bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years' proven experience in construction project management.
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and quality standards.
• PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Meet contractual conditions of performance.
• Review the work progress on a daily basis.
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
• Work closely with governmental agencies on permits and site inspections.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to and enforcing safety codes.
