Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects from inception to completion in Omaha, NE. The role focuses on ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget while coordinating with subcontractors, inspectors, architects, engineers, and city officials.

Qualified candidates will have 7+ years of PM experience in construction, strong organizational and leadership skills, and proficiency in budgeting, risk management, and project management software.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Project Manager in construction
• Strong knowledge of construction principles and practices
• Experience with subcontracts and subcontractors
• Proven track record of leading project teams
• Strong relationships with external entities
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Experience budgeting, risk management, and project management
• Ability to prepare detailed Project Contract status reports
• Experience partnering with Project Superintendents in site logistics planning
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
• Prepare detailed project contract status reports
• Partner with Project Superintendent in the development of a project site logistics plan
• Conduct risk management processes to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
