Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our Northern California operations, overseeing a diverse portfolio of commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will collaborate with owners, architects, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure high-quality outcomes and maintain strong client relationships.

The role requires 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, with a background in general contracting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects.
• Background working for a general contractor or construction management firm.
• Experience overseeing projects ranging from several million dollars to larger, complex commercial developments.
• Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, cost control, contracts, and project administration.
• Ability to lead multiple stakeholders and drive project success from start to finish.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from award through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, subcontract agreements, and procurement logs.
• Lead project meetings with owners, design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor project financial performance, including forecasting, job costing, and change order management.
• Coordinate with Superintendents to ensure project milestones, safety requirements, and quality standards are achieved.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and contract documents.
• Identify and proactively resolve project risks and challenges.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships that contribute to repeat business opportunities.
