Job summary

SST Direct in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead and develop a multidisciplinary team for end-to-end project delivery. You will oversee project scope, schedule, budget, safety, and stakeholder communications to ensure quality results.

The role requires a Bachelor's in construction management or related field, 7+ years in construction engineering or project engineering, and 1-2 years in a managerial capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, related field, or equivalent experience required.
• Master's degree preferred (not essential).
• Experience: minimum 7 years in construction engineering or related field.
• 1-2 years managerial experience preferred.
• OSHA30-Hour Construction certification preferred; OSHA 30 required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of construction project personnel, establishing expectations and development plans.
• Oversee end-to-end project execution, monitor progress, address escalated issues, and lead safety initiatives.
• Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors to meet schedule and field needs.
• Communicate project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders with advanced project management knowledge.
• Evaluate project performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Review project documentation for compliance, reporting, and future reference.
