Job summary

The W22 in Woodbridge, VA seeks an accomplished Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead multiple painting projects from award to closeout. You will own budgets, forecast costs, handle billing and change orders, and ensure financial performance while coordinating manpower, materials, and field operations.

You will review contracts, drawings, and schedules, work with superintendents and foremen, and drive on-site planning with general contractors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience preferred.
• Specialty subcontracting experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, and cost management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of project financials, forecasting, billing, and change management.
• Ability to effectively lead and coordinate field personnel.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial painting projects simultaneously from award through closeout.
• Own project budgets, cost projections, billing, change orders, and overall financial performance.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, schedules, and project requirements.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, procurement, and field operations.
• Work closely with superintendents, foremen, and field leadership to properly plan and execute projects.
• Manage project schedules and coordinate with general contractors and other trades.
• Identify scope changes and additional work and effectively manage change orders.
• Monitor production, costs, quality, safety, and schedule performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, owners, and project teams.
• Participate in project turnover, preconstruction meetings, progress meetings, and closeout.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate project status to company leadership.
