Job summary

Balfour Beatty Construction is seeking a Project Manager for the Los Angeles area. The role directs the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a construction project, including contract administration, submittals, procurement, and scheduling to ensure quality and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Construction Management and 10+ years of commercial construction PM experience, with strong supervisory skills and familiarity with industry software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Ten years or more of commercial construction experience in project management.
• Five years or more of direct supervisory experience related to subcontractor management.
• Experience with project manager software (Constructware, P6, Timberline, etc.).
• Experience with cost projection, financial analysis, budget reviews, labor reports.
• Experience with JD Edwards or similar construction application(s).

Responsibilities

• Direct the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a construction project.
• Coordinate and supervise contract administration, submittals, procurement, and schedule requirements.
• Manage project financial projections and budget reviews to ensure profitability and quality.
• Promote customer relations, community involvement, and leadership development within the team.
