Job summary

Balfour Beatty US is seeking a Project Manager for the Los Angeles area. The role directs the overall direction, completion, and financial outcomes of a construction project, including contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, financial projections and schedule adherence.

The position emphasizes maintaining quality, profitability and a strong Safety/Zero Harm culture while leading and developing a high-performing team on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS degree in construction-related field
• Ten+ years in commercial construction project management
• Five+ years in supervising subcontractors
• Experience with PM software (Constructware, P6, Timberline)
• Experience with cost projection, financial analysis, budgets and labor reports
• Experience with JD Edwards or similar construction applications

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee overall project direction and completion
• Manage contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement
• Monitor project financial projections and budgets
• Ensure schedule requirements are met for on-time delivery
• Foster customer, community relations and stakeholder communications
• Promote safety culture and team leadership
