Job summary

Balfour Beatty US is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for the Mid-Atlantic Buildings division to lead on-site project administration and ensure profitable, safe, and timely project delivery. You’ll supervise project managers and manage contracts, costs, schedules, and procurement while building strong client relations.

You will oversee GMP development, monthly cost projections, and incentive plans, collaborating with preconstruction and field teams to meet or exceed customer

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Demonstrates leadership skills with ability to face challenges and motivate others.
• Supervises and develops direct reports while prioritizing responsibilities.
• Manages essential functions to deliver quality, profitable, safe, and timely results.
• Solid presentation and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budget and GMP development.
• Oversee contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, and schedule updates.
• Develop monthly Projected Final Cost Report (PFR) and Labor Cost Report (LCR).
• Create Project Incentive Compensation Plan within 30 days of GMP acceptance.
• Collaborate with Preconstruction on cost reports and budget development.
• Coordinate subcontracting process and ensure alignment with budget and scope.
• Develop and maintain project schedule and resource matrix.
• Ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction on site.
