Job summary

Oculus Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a highly respected GC in the Chicagoland area. You will be the day-to-day owner of the job, guiding projects through estimating, buyout, scheduling, cost control, and closeout with strong field and preconstruction support.

You will lead a team across CMiC, Bluebeam, Procore and other tools, managing LEED-oriented projects from start to finish while coordinating subcontractors and stakeholders in the Chicago market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a related field.
• Six+ years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as a Project Manager or in a closely related role.
• Strong working knowledge of construction software including CMiC, Bluebeam, Procore, Navisworks, AutoCAD/Revit, Matterport, Power Project and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities related to construction and maintenance of structures and systems.
• Manage projects through all phases — estimating, cost control coordination, scheduling, reporting, and document control.
• Lead project start-up processes and implement the overall project schedule.
• Own management of the project and its day-to-day activities.
• Establish the subcontractor communication process and oversee document management.
