Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Project Manager for a well-established General Contractor in Chicagoland. You will lead complex construction projects from planning through completion, coordinating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery and strict budget adherence.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field, 3+ years of PM experience in ground-up commercial/retail, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related field required.
• Minimum 3 years as a PM in construction, including ground-up and commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases from planning to completion, delivering on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals.
• Manage and supervise crews, subcontractors, and laborers.
