Job summary

Just Construction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager/Senior Project Manager for high-profile public-sector projects in New York. You will oversee schedules, budgets, subcontractors, client relationships, and overall project execution while ensuring safety, quality, and contract compliance.

The role requires proactive leadership to coordinate multiple stakeholders, mitigate risks, and drive successful outcomes on fast-paced construction programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of project management in institutional, healthcare, educational, infrastructure, or public-sector construction preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, work plans, and milestones.
• Coordinate activities with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Manage project team and monitor progress to meet schedule and budget objectives.
• Manage contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout requirements.
