Job summary

Grand Canyon Development Partners in Las Vegas seeks a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead complex design and construction efforts across hospitality, gaming, and retail projects. The role encompasses full lifecycle management, budgets and schedules, and coordination with Owners, Designers and Contractors.

The position also includes mentoring junior PMs and coordinating cross-disciplinary teams to ensure project success, safety compliance, and on-time turnover to tenants.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management desired; combination of education and work experience will be considered.
• OSHA 30 hour certification preferred (must obtain certification within 3 months of hire).
• Intermediate knowledge of Windows/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook/Word.
• Basic knowledge of Prolog or other Project Management software.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Suretrack and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Managed scope of work for full design and/or construction teams under supervision.
• Handle varied levels of project complexity and lifecycle development management.
• Review and resolve field construction problems with A/E supervision, client, and contractors.
• May manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Develop or update field procedures, researching codes and technical references.
• Provide technical direction and supervision to contracting personnel.
• Review A/E design documents for completion, coordination, and constructability.
• Maintain budget and activity reports for Owner reporting.
• Transmits field updates and photos to clients weekly.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers or Coordinators as required.
• Coordinate and attend weekly design/construction coordination meetings.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
