SAHARA Las Vegas Hotel & Casino project is seeking an experienced construction manager to lead complex renovation efforts on-site. You will oversee budgeting, scheduling, procurement tracking and change management while coordinating with client representatives and service providers.

The role emphasizes team building, strong communication, and rigorous documentation to ensure projects meet quality and time targets in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a building-related field is required.
• Experience managing large casino renovation projects is preferred.
• Strong budgeting and cost forecasting capabilities are expected.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage components of a large complex casino renovation projects with high quality and on budget.
• Develop and present scope, schedule and budget documentation.
• Maintain positive working relationships with client reps, operations stakeholders and service providers.
• Build teams and encourage participation for project success.
• Provide timely project documentation and status updates to clients and team members.
• Manage budgeting, scheduling, procurement tracking, submittals, RFIs and change orders.
• Develop project funding requests and issue purchase orders and contracts as needed.
• Create schedules with adequate lead times and adjust as required to protect the schedule.
• Monitor budget/change orders to ensure on-time, under-budget delivery.
• Prepare RFPs, review bids, and identify value-engineering opportunities.
• Approve invoices and ensure vendors are paid; close out POs properly.
• Establish a standard document filing program for the project lifecycle.
