Jobot in Georgia is seeking an experienced Construction PM/Estimator for our reputable GC client in GA. The role offers a salary between $90,000 and $140,000 per year and requires a strong background in commercial construction estimating and project management.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as a commercial estimator, be proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and On-Screen Takeoff, and be capable of handling multiple bids, take-offs, and client coordination.

Qualifications

• Desire and determination to succeed.
• Proficient in providing estimates & estimating services.
• Experience with conceptual and schematic design budgeting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook; On-Screen Takeoff preferred.
• Knowledge of construction processes and terminology.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Excellent math skills.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a commercial construction estimator.

Responsibilities

• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects is required
• Review, create, submit quality estimates with detailed proposals
• Prepare high level quantity and manpower take-offs
• Prospect and procure new opportunities for bid
• Comprehensively analyze plans, specifications, proposals and additional documentation to prepare bid estimates for projects
• Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, jobsite walk-throughs, bids, and coordination meetings
• Must maintain an extremely professional working relationship with clients, subcontractors, and peers
• Other duties as assigned
