Job summary

Elevate seeks a Senior Associate in Portland, OR to lead construction projects focused on building electrification and decarbonization. You will manage contractors, conduct site assessments, and coordinate with program managers and engineers to deliver energy-efficient upgrades.

This role supports programs statewide and possibly the Pacific Northwest, with remote work options and on-site requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years in energy auditing, building science, construction management, or energy engineering.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building shell elements.
• Ability to convey technical information to contractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects with external contractors and internal teams to deliver electrification projects.
• Conduct scoping walkthroughs, oversight, installations, and closeouts; approve invoices after inspection.
• Support property owners in developing plans, budgets, and timelines; coordinate with stakeholders.
• Act as primary construction contact; document activity and monitor schedules, costs, and safety.
