Job summary

UPS Industrial Services, LLC. is seeking a Planner to support complex industrial construction, turnaround, and maintenance projects.

You will develop, coordinate, and execute planning activities, aligning with goals, timelines, and client expectations. Reporting to the project manager or senior leadership, the planner works with engineering, procurement, field teams, and subcontractors to integrate scopes, monitor progress, and support schedules.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years planning and scheduling in industrial, commercial, or heavy construction environments.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams including engineering, procurement, and field execution.
• Knowledge of change management and schedule risk assessment.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 100% if required.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts, drawings, and specifications to plan the project.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and subcontractors for scope and resources.
• Support planning, scheduling, and execution activities.
• Integrate engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction into a single schedule.
• Prepare and maintain work packages, look-ahead plans, and documentation.
• Monitor progress and identify schedule or resource impacts.
• Update and communicate changes and recovery plans.
• Support turnover, commissioning, and closeout documentation.
