Job summary

RK Industries is seeking a Senior Leader to oversee construction projects within budget, schedule, and policy guidelines. The role manages multiple business units, coordinates cross‑department work, and drives pre-construction, planning, execution, and closeout processes.

Emphasis on leadership, safety, and optimizing project outcomes will shape company objectives. The position requires a deep track record in leading complex programs, strong vendor relations, and the ability to mentor staff

Qualifications

• 15+ years of leadership experience in construction/projects management.
• Master's degree or higher or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple programs and negotiate with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of Business Unit/Operation Group Managers and their teams.
• Support marketing efforts for the Business Unit.
• Review Business Unit bidding/pending/new projects list and coordinate award and staffing.
• Assist in management needs associated with estimating and bid closings.
• Ensure pre-construction planning meetings are conducted for business unit projects.
• Ensure bid estimates align with contract work units and budget.
• Oversee contract and subcontract agreements processing and control.
• Develop and monitor material/equipment/fixture plans, including requisitions and delivery coordination.
• Ensure timely billings and collections for the business unit.
