Job summary

RK Industries seeks a Director of Preconstruction to lead budgeting, design, and pursuit strategy for major projects. You will mentor a high‑performing team and partner with executive leadership across data centers, healthcare, manufacturing, and commercial markets.

You will guide estimates, coordinate with operations and external stakeholders, and drive growth while ensuring constructability and budget certainty.

Qualifications

• College/University graduate with relevant experience and leadership skills.
• Strong design understanding from concept to final drawings and specs.
• Proven ability to lead large preconstruction teams and projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with analytical thinking.
• Creativity, foresight and mature judgment in planning programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preconstruction team through budgeting and design processes.
• Coordinate with operations and external stakeholders for pursuit delivery.
• Develop schematic and design development estimates with managers.
• Attend design meetings for key projects and maintain records.
• Mentor staff and improve estimating practices to match market demands.
• Prepare executive level reporting and manage department budgets.
