Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Senior Field Technician to join our Raleigh team. You will perform observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of materials on construction sites, coordinating with project managers and other senior staff.

Responsibilities include data collection, drafting field reports, and maintaining clear communication with contractors. Training opportunities and advancement with certification support are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of related field experience.
• High School diploma or GED; valid driver’s license.
• Must maintain current basic level certifications and two advanced certifications.
• OSHA 10 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Field Activities: observe, test, sample, and inspect materials on construction sites per project requirements.
• Testing Procedures: conduct routine field tests for soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel placement.
• Data Collection: perform calculations, draft reports documenting site observations.
• Communication: maintain daily contact with site contractors, technicians, and project managers; update plans as needed.
• Training and Development: receive ECS methodology training and document findings precisely.
