Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a certified Construction Materials Testing Senior Field Technician to join our Fort Worth team. You will perform field observations, testing, sampling and inspections on construction sites under the guidance of senior technicians and project managers.

This role emphasizes safety, data collection, and reporting, with opportunities for professional development through ECS training and industry certifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years related experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must maintain current basic level certifications and 2 advanced certifications.
• OSHA 10 is a plus.
• Must have valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Strong communication skills across stakeholders.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic math for engineering documents.

Responsibilities

• Observe, test, sample, and inspect materials on construction sites under guidance of senior staff.
• Perform field tests for soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel following industry standards.
• Collect data, calculate results, draft field reports documenting site observations.
• Maintain daily communication with site contractors and project managers.
• Receive training in ECS methods and document findings precisely.
