Job summary

STV Incorporated in New York, NY is seeking a Construction Manager for its Transportation division to oversee transportation projects in the New York area. Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience as an inspector on rail, tunnel, roadway or utility rehabilitation projects.
• Experience with policies, procedures and specifications for City Reconstruction Contracts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of field oversight and documentation.
• Work with field staff for inspection of construction projects and review construction drawings.
• Inspect construction activities and coordinate with other public agencies; ensure contractor conformance to contract documents.
• Submit daily reports and act as the Owner’s on-site representative with the Contractor to monitor quality and conformance.
