Job description

STV currently has an opening for a Construction Manager in its Lawrenceville, NJ or Newark, NJ Office to work on transportation projects in the New Jersey area. The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience on infrastructure construction projects and a working knowledge of policies, procedures, and specifications for City Reconstruction Contracts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organization, and time management are required.

Key Responsibilities

The Construction Inspection Manager will work with field staff to inspect construction projects, review construction drawings, coordinate construction with other public & private agencies, monitor contractors for contract compliance, submit daily reports, and serve as the Owner’s on‑site representative to coordinate and monitor matters of quality and substantial conformance to contract documents.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience as an inspector working on rail, tunnel, roadway, and utility rehabilitation construction projects

Compensation Range

$137,198.91 - $156,798.76
