Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking a Construction Department Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers responsible for building the United States' most advanced semiconductor facilities. This on-site role requires a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and process construction scopes, plus strong leadership to ensure on-time delivery, safety, and quality of projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience managing complex construction projects.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and process construction scopes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Oversee planning, coordination, and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and process construction scopes.
• Collaborate with internal design teams to resolve construction-related issues and ensure seamless integration.
• Plan and execute commissioning activities for all systems while maintaining timelines and quality standards.
• Drive ecosystem development for construction partners, vendors, and suppliers to support TSMC's expanding operations in Arizona.
• Implement and monitor safety and quality programs across all projects, ensuring compliance with corporate and industry standards.
• Manage critical-path bottlenecks and troubleshoot issues to ensure timely project completion.
• Oversee local AHJ inspection activities and maintain relationships to facilitate approvals.
