Job summary

Matrix Service, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Construction Manager IV for the National Construction Group to oversee field execution on EPC industrial projects, ensuring safety and cost efficiency in line with plans.

The role directs daily craft work, aids with pre-job planning, budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor management. Travel to project sites is required; excellent communication and safety leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction, or 10 years’ related experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes and standards and their impact on project activities.
• Working and/or subject matter knowledge of oil field design, construction, finance and project management.
• Excellent communication (oral, written) and computer skills (MS Word, Project, and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Support safety programs and company values on project sites.
• Assist with pre-job planning of budgets, schedules, safety and quality plans.
• Coordinate work activities of subcontractors and vendors.
• Conduct safety audits and implement corrective measures.
• Attend bid meetings and assist with proposal development.
• Lead daily coordination meetings and provide guidance to staff.
