Job summary

Cordoba Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead El Camino College projects in Torrance, CA. The role requires a confident, client-facing professional who can coordinate with the client, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to meet district goals and timelines.

The ideal candidate has 10–15 years of construction management experience in education facilities with DSA experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of construction management experience in education facilities with DSA jurisdiction.
• DSA experience is required.
• Strong client-facing presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases from pre-construction to close-out for assigned projects.
• Oversee day-to-day construction activities ensuring alignment with district goals and quality standards.
• Serve as primary liaison between client, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation with accuracy and accountability.
• Lead cross-discipline coordination and proactively resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and DSA requirements.
• Provide clear communication to stakeholders at all levels.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Support procurement, contract administration, and change management processes.
